For your business
Can your business use Adfin to get paid?
Yes, if you send invoices to customers. Adfin describes itself as a payments and credit control platform: it collects payments by Direct Debit, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer, and chases unpaid invoices for you.
We use it for our own invoices. If you'd like to use it for yours, talk to us first.
What Adfin says its platform does.
Every way to get paid
Direct Debit, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer, all in one place.
Payment links
Send a payment link by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Your customer pays by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or from their banking app.
Automated reminders
Reminders chase unpaid invoices by email, SMS and WhatsApp, on a schedule you control.
Works with Xero and QuickBooks
Adfin is a certified Xero and QuickBooks app. Paid invoices are marked as paid in your accounting software automatically.
If a Direct Debit fails
Adfin retries the payment and can fall back to a card on file or send a payment link.
Statements and instalments
Pull a customer's unpaid invoices into one statement, or split an invoice into scheduled payments.

What do clients ask us about paying through Adfin?
How can I pay Wainwrights?
By Direct Debit or card. To pay an invoice by card, use our Adfin payment page. If you'd like your fees to go out by Direct Debit, call or message us and we'll set it up.
Why does the payment page say "Powered by Adfin"?
Because Adfin runs our payment page for us. The page says "Payment to Wainwrights Accountants" at the top. If a payment request ever looks wrong to you, call us on 0151 334 5935 before you pay.
Who processes my card payment?
Regulated payment providers, according to Adfin. Adfin says it does not store or directly handle sensitive payment information. You can read more on Adfin's security page.
Who do I contact about an invoice or a refund?
Us, not Adfin. Adfin's payment page says support questions and refunds are handled by the business that asked for payment. Our office is open 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, on 0151 334 5935 or WhatsApp.
Can I pay my tax bill on this page?
No. Tax goes straight to HMRC, using GOV.UK's Pay your tax service. It covers Self Assessment, VAT, Corporation Tax and employers' PAYE and National Insurance, among others. Our Adfin page is only for Wainwrights' own invoices.
Can my business use Adfin too?
Yes, if you send invoices to customers. You can sign up through our Adfin invitation page. Adfin says it works with Xero and QuickBooks, and marks paid invoices as paid in them automatically. If you'd like to talk it through first, call us on 0151 334 5935.
Do I need to be on the Wirral?
No. We're based in Bromborough and work with clients across the UK by phone, Zoom, WhatsApp and our client app.
